There are times when the span is higher than the normal level. On such instances, individuals can utilize this alternative. Users are provided with a full-length maintenance platform on crane itself that helps in reducing time when the crane is being repaired.
The main parts of this machine include the likes of bridge girders, end carriages, platform, crab, crane traveling mechanism and electrical equipment. The design of the double girder EOT crane is very compact. Even the electrical panel sports a modular build that covers a wide range of operation. S.Cranes has designed the double girder eot crane in such a way that it becomes easy for the users to operate it. Their fuse less circuitry, and ducted wiring are some of the additional mechanisms on the electrical panel.
Crane Range :
An optimal area coverage can be achieved by providing the overhang on both sides of the under slung crane. The highest position can be increased by a suitable crane and end carriage design.
- Capacity: 0.5 Ton to 100 Ton
- Span : 0.5 Mtr to 40 Mtr
- Lift : 0.5 Mtr to 12 Mtr
This type of crane is used to get more lift and uses the truss structure to support gantries (which consist of 2 parallel I beams mounted below the truss).The two end carriages move below the I beam gantries and carry the main girder which is fixed below the two end carriages. The hoist plus trolley unit moves below the main girder.
Double Girder Cranes move on the gantry rails fixed on top of the gantry girders. In Double Girder Overhead Cranes three common motions are incorporated namely Hoisting, Cross travels and Long travels. Double girder traveling cranes are used for high spans or high capacities. Sometimes according to the customer’s requirements auxiliary Hoist and Micro motion are also incorporated.
The type of double girder cranes, are generally used for heavy or medium duty jobs. These cranes are made as per BIS numbers 807 & 3177 (for crane) and BIS number 3938 (for hoist).
We can provide optional accessories like; independent moving pendent, two speeds for each motion, soft start for long travel motion, radio remote control etc.
The S Crane can also provide a single girder flameproof under slung crane, which is suitable for a hazardous area. In a flameproof crane all the electrical items like motor, brake, panel, pendent, limit switch etc are procured only from CMRI approved manufacturers.
