These systems provide space
for materials handling even when production units or warehouses are
comparatively small and low. To minimize the capital costs for
modifications to buildings to provide extra space, we utilize the
minimum of space for our crane systems. Using various fixing
arrangements the S. CRANE single girder travelling cranes, single
girder overhead cranes, single girder cranes can be fitted
individually to the existing space available.
Favorable dimensions result in the optimal highest hook position.
Normally there is no maximum safety distance to the ceiling of the
building for single girder overhead cranes with a load capacity
range of up to 10 T. This makes single girder overhead cranes a
master at saving space even in buildings with unfavourable
dimensions. The single girder crane is constructed from robust
profiles.
Using a comprehensive range of fixing arrangements the travelling
cranes can be designed to fit the available space. All we need for
the planning stage of the crane systems are the clear dimensions of
the building. We will then design the crane individually for you.
STANDARD FEATURES
DESIGN :- Compact dimensions, low
weight, easy to operate and easy to maintain, modular design with
direct fits between components.
MOTORS :- S. CRANE uses sturdy cylindrical / conical rotor
pole-changing motors with elegant continuous cast aluminium
sections, integrated safety brakes insulation class F, IP54
protection
GEAR BOXES :- Precision flat helical / spur gear units in
light alloy housings with case-hardened gears, high-grade surface
treatment and permanent oil / grease lubrication.
BRAKES :- Single / Dual-disc electromagnetic DC brakes
featuring automatic braking on power failure. Environmentally sound
brake linings designed for approx. 1 million braking operations
allow long maintenance intervals.
ELECTRICAL PANEL :- Modular design, covering a very wide
operating range. The systems are designed for ease of installation
and maintenance and reliable operation, with fuse less circuitry,
ducted wiring and non-screwed terminals. Each drive group is
equipped with a motor overload protection device to provide
effective protection against inadmissible overloading.
PAINTING :- Every component & part is thoroughly
scrubbed & painted with two coats of primer before assembly &
two coats of synthetic enamel after testing.
SPECIAL FEATURES
- LIMIT SWITCHES :- To prevent over hoisting & over
lowering of hook.
- PUSH BUTTON STATIONS :- Extra light, handy, easy to operate,
aluminium, fabricated from extruded section.
- SOFT STARTS :- Electric / Electronic soft start modules
electrically coupled to the long travel drives to achieve jerk
free, cushioned & smooth starts.
- MAINTENANCE PLATFORM WITH HAND RAILING :- Easy, simple &
safe maintenance of the crane extended partially or totally
along the girder.
OPTIONAL
- Two speeds in all drives.
- Limit switches & brakes in cross travel drive.
- Independent push button station for bulky jobs.

DESIGN, FEATURES & SPECIFICATIONS
S. CRANE DOUBLE GIRDER CRANES
When heavy loads and wide spans are required, the S. CRANE double
girder overhead cranes show their strength. double girder cranes
consist of two torsion-free box girders. This makes double girder
cranes especially suitable for lifting and transporting loads over
10 T and for span of more than 25 m S. Double girder overhead cranes
are available with load capacities upto 30 T and with spans upto 31
m. Articulated end carriage joints ensure positive contact of all
four wheels with the track. The range of fixing arrangements allows
the appropriate integration of S. CRANE overhead cranes into new
buildings as well as into existing buildings. Just as with all other
types of S. CRANE overhead cranes, the profiles of the main girder
are optimally produced using computers so that maximum performance
with a minimum of deadweight can be achieved. An advantage that has
financial benfits.
