DESIGN, FEATURES & SPECIFICATIONS :-
S. CRANE GOODS LIFTS Transfer of material from one level / floor to another in a fabricated cage can be achieved using a S. Crane Goods Lift. This system incorporates a standard S. Crane Wire Rope Hoist, mounted on a supported I-Beam, which lowers & raises the cage. In the absence of RCC well inside the building, a fabricated enclosure supporting structure can be erected on site. This structure is independent of the building can be erected inside or outside the building, just touching. Guide wheels are fitted on the cage which run in the C - Guides which are provided
on the structures on opposite sides. This arrangement enables smooth & trouble free travel of the cage in a vertically straight line. Collapsible gates are provided at all entry / exit points for essential safety.

STANDARD FEATURES :-
DESIGN :- Compact dimensions, low weight, easy to operate and easy to maintain, modular design with direct fits between components.
MOTORS :- S. CRANE uses sturdy cylindrical / conical rotor pole-changing motors with elegant continuous cast aluminium sections, integrated safety brakes insulation class F, IP54 protection.
GEAR BOXES :- Precision flat helical / spur gear units in light alloy housings with case-hardened gears, high-grade surface treatment and permanent oil / grease lubrication.
BRAKES :- Single / Dual-disc electromagnetic DC brakes featuring automatic braking on power failure. Environmentally sound brake linings designed for approx. 1 million braking operations allow long maintenance intervals.
ELECTRICAL PANEL :- Modular design, covering a very wide operating range. The systems are designed for ease of installation and maintenance and reliable operation, with fuse less circuitry, ducted wiring and non-screwed terminals. Each drive group is equipped with a motor overload protection device to provide effective protection against inadmissible overloading.
PAINTING :- Every component & part is thoroughly scrubbed & painted with two coats of primer before assembly & two coats of synthetic enamel after testing.

SPECIAL FEATURES :-

• LIMIT SWITCHES :- To prevent over hoisting & over lowering of hook.
• ELECTRO-MECHANIC DOOR LOCKS near the collapsible gates to ensure :
  1) Lift does not work electrically if any door is open.
  2) The collapsible gate does not open mechanically unless cage is on corresponding level.
• SPRING BUFFERS on the floor of the lift well to cushion the cage.

Main Girder :-

• Economical design, using bigger cross-section of crane with lesser amount of steel.
• Special lightweight construction of the crane reduces load stress on building supports.
• Low Headroom ensuring maximum lift.
• Easy accessibility for maintainence.
• Bigger corss-section ensures lesser vibrations in girder.

Cross Travel Drive :- The use of a motor driven trolley with the hoist greatly increases the speed and efficiency of load handling. Steel frame side plates extend beyond wheels for end stop contact. Wheels are with contoured tread for use on standard tapered or wide flange flat beams. Traverse gear reducer is conservatively - rated rugged drive reducer with output pinion meshing with machine cut wheel gears.

Long Travel Drive :- It comprises of an arrangement of solid shafts and floating shafts coupled by universal couplings and supported on pedestals blocks. The arrangement is driven by a crane duty foot mounted motor transmitting torque to heavy duty shaft mounted gear box, which transmits torque to output pinion, this pinion meshes with machine cut wheel gears. Rail sweeps are provided on end carriages and crab frame ends to clear of any object left on or learning against the rail ahead of the crane wheels. Rubbers Buffers are also provided an end-carriages & crab. A Special Soft Start Unit is coupled to the LT Drive to ensure a smooth, cushioned & jerk free start.
